A former division one athlete, Matt channels his practice of excellence into facilitating innovative, memorable performances of all kinds. With a sixth sense for what takes an act from good to great, he works closely with his sources to target, obtain and stage top talent for events large and small.

Focusing exclusively on live talent procurement for events, MRR’s portfolio includes ticketed music shows for over 600 guests, elegant sit-down dinners for 200, comedic and artistic performances, large-scale professional expositions, galas, private parties, and family-friendly productions.

Past productions include live shows for Amy Schumer, Craig Robinson, Joe Gatto, DL Huely, Dark Star Orchestra, MGMT, Joan Jett, Lupe Fiasco, The Wallflowers, The B52s, Yellowman, Sublime with Rome, Junior Marvin & The Legendary Wailers, Mystic & Zuri Marley, Don Felder, Don McLean, DJ Roosevelt, James Kennedy, and a host of local Long Island musicians and performers. In 2024, Matt also launched the first annual Hamptons Reggae Festival.

Matt is currently responsible for curating the main stage and event space at The Clubhouse Hamptons — the heart of the venue, now branded “The Room” — where international musicians, comedians and celebrities continue to headline. See @theroomhamptons on Instagram.

Deeply invested in his local community, Matt takes pride in giving back by supporting charities and nonprofits. During the Covid pandemic, he set up a site for the operation of Jon Bon Jovi’s soup kitchen which resulted in the star performing live to launch the main stage at The Room. Matt continues to support causes for the arts and the greater good near and far.
